A&D EZICheck customisable checkweighing system
A&D Australasia’s Inspection Systems Division has customised its EZICheck system to produce a high-capacity checkweigher. The final outcome was an end-of-line weighing system comprising an infeed conveyor, a weighing conveyor, a control unit and a push ram rejecter, with a throughput of over 30 pieces/min with ±0.02 kg accuracy.
Able to weigh 10 kg of produce packed in re-usable plastic crates or cardboard boxes, the checkweigher offers intelligent storage of product information, with easy extraction for quality assurance, and can integrate with existing lines and equipment.
With a robust design constructed of food-grade stainless steel, the system controls, including the large colour touch-screen interface, are user-friendly.
The benefits of the system include real-time monitoring of product weight deviations, improved QA and QC reporting and moderation of overfilling and wastage.
