Third AIP State of Industry Webinar
Registrations are open for the third AIP State of Industry Webinar to be held on Wednesday, 5 June at 10 am (AEST) with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment & Water (DCCEEW).
The presentation by Jane Cronin, Director, Packaging Policy & Reform, Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment & Water, will discuss the priority pillars for the DCCEEW following the announcement of Australia’s federal national packaging laws, which seek to provide regulatory certainty and consistency, and make businesses take responsibility for the 6.7 million tonnes of packaging they place on the Australian market.
The webinar will also cover:
- DCCEEW to become the regulator of the new packaging regulation
- Mandatory National Packaging Design Standard
- Eco-Modulation and Extended Producer Responsibility
