The Fresh Produce Safety Conference approaches
The 2022 Fresh Produce Safety Conference will be taking place on 11 August at the University of Sydney. The event is dedicated to educating attendees about food safety and covers topics such as advances in food science, the ways that safety systems are expanding, and how best to implement standards.
There will be 19 speakers on the day who will be talking within the theme of Promoting Skills, Science, Systems and Standards. The list of presenters includes researchers, business managers, food safety workers, supply chain specialists and a slew of other areas of experience.
The keynote speech, by Drew McDonald, is entitled “It’s Everyone’s Job — Embedding Food Safety Across the Business at Taylor Farms” and will run at the top of the morning, followed by talks throughout the day. The conference will also be presented online for those not able to attend, and in the four following weeks there will be a series of skills workshops being run.
Register for The Fresh Produce Safety Conference and check out its site for information about the venue, speaker program and pricing details. Registration closes 8 August.
