Tetra Pak appoints new CEO

The Tetra Laval Group Board has announced Adolfo Orive will replace Dennis Jönsson as President and CEO of Tetra Pak from April 2019. The appointment follows Jönsson’s decision to step down after 14 years in the position and 36 years with the company.

Currently Cluster Vice President North Central and South America, Orive joined Tetra Pak in 1993 before becoming part of the Global Leadership Team in 2014. He also previously held several managerial positions, including Managing Director of Colombia, Spain and Cluster Vice President North and Central Europe.

Orive has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering at Ibero-American University (IBERO), Mexico and a Master’s in Business Administration at Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology (ITAM).
