Stunning tool takeover
Frontmatec, the supplier of customised equipment, solutions and software for the red meat industry, has entered into an agreement to secure Accles and Shelvoke, manufacturer of captive bolt stunning tools.
Manufacturing in Birmingham, UK, for over 100 years, Accles and Shelvoke has recently experienced increased demand from its global customer base for its cartridge powered tools.
A Frontmatec ownership of Accles & Shelvoke will maintain the business’s growth and provision development of new products and markets.
Joe Holland, the general manager of Accles & Shelvoke, said, “We sell our products all over the world, our new owners will help develop and build the company through continued investment.” Speaking about the changes, Joe added, “I do not expect any immediate changes to our current distributor arrangements, so it will be business as usual for our all customers around the world.”
