Seminar to help boost food packaging performance
The ‘Packaging performance for your food product’ seminar will be taking place in September this year. Run by the Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology (AIFST) in collaboration with CSIRO’s food innovation centre, the event will provide information and discuss considerations for packaging a range of products.
Packaging plays a key role in the production, preservation, protection, distribution and marketing of food products. It also provides information about the contents of the package. A global supply chain, product security, consumer demand and environmental concerns are some of the drivers of innovation in the packaging supply chain.
The event is suitable for food professionals, business owners, marketing professionals, food industry company executives, packaging professionals, technical directors, academics, innovation managers, technology managers, product development managers, technical managers, quality assurance managers, entrepreneurial investors, retailers from the food manufacturing industries, universities and government.
