Sales and Operations Manager at Heat and Control New Zealand
Scott Burrows has been promoted to Sales and Operations Manager at Heat and Control for New Zealand. With over 25 years’ experience in the food processing and packaging industry, Burrows brings a wealth of industry know-how and insight to the leadership position. Burrows’ long-term colleague, Martin de Jager, has been appointed as New Zealand’s new Service Manager.
Heat and Control has manufactured food processing and packaging equipment for over 65 years. Based in Auckland, with a dedicated team in the South Island, Burrows said Heat and Control offers a broad range of processing, conveying and inspection machinery for the food industry — backed by decades of industry experience.
In his time at Heat and Control, he has witnessed the growing importance of workplace health and safety for NZ manufacturers and Heat and Control ensured they kept up with the demands of today’s safety-conscious market.
Burrows said he has a real focus on continuous improvement in his new role and enjoys the customer-focused approach that the New Zealand-based team have and how they tackle daily challenges with a positive mindset.
“Heat and Control have the unique capability within our industry to supply a single piece of machinery for a line or integrate several components into a complete system and assume single-source responsibility,” he said.
