Registrations open for Hort Connections 2024
Registrations are open for conference and trade show for the horticulture sector Hort Connections 2024 to be held from 3–5 June at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Conference Centre.
This year’s program hosts speakers from government and regulatory authorities, researchers, growers, agronomists, agrifinance, market analysts and more.
Beyond the conference program, Hort Connections attendees are able to book a seat on four separate pre-event tours that offer access to businesses and facilities that are normally closed to the public. This year’s tours include:
- a tour of the Melbourne Wholesale Market, fruit and berry farms in the Yarra Valley, and lunch at a local vineyard;
- a visit to Mornington Peninsula growers Butler Market Gardens, Peter Schreurs & Sons and Gazzola Farms;
- a tour of a range of innovative retail settings around Melbourne;
- a visit to Bacchus Marsh and Werribee horticulture businesses Boomaroo Nurseries, Tripod Farmers and Boratto Farms — Sold out.
“Our farm and retail tours are an opportunity for attendees to get a look inside the businesses of key players in the horticulture industry that would otherwise be inaccessible,” said AUSVEG National Manager – Events and Partnerships Nathan McIntyre.
