Packaging prowess: APCO 2024 award finalists announced
The Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO) has announced the shortlisted finalists for the 2024 APCO Awards, recognising companies that have innovated within the sustainable packaging sector.
This year, in collaboration with the Banksia Foundation, a total of 55 organisations have been recognised for their achievements across eight different sustainable packaging categories.
This year’s awards build on APCO’s legacy with diverse categories such as a Sustainable Packaging Guidelines (SPGs) Implementation Award, Reuse Award, Recycled Content Award and more. Notably, APCO introduced the new Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) Excellence Award this year, recognising those that have excelled in implementing the ARL on their packaging.
Chris Foley, APCO CEO said: “These awards highlight the organisations who are paving the way for a stronger packaging future across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. We look forward to welcoming you all to our awards ceremony in November, where we will celebrate our winners.”
All winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Thursday, 21 November at Doltone House in Sydney.
