Maxum Foods appoints its first CEO
Maxum Foods has announced the appointment of Adrian Lochland as the company’s first Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 July 2025.
Lochland has over 25 years of senior leadership experience in market-leading agribusiness, food and ingredient companies. Since joining Maxum in 2021, he has played a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of its Animal Nutrition division as Executive General Manager.
His appointment to CEO reflects the business’s strong performance and commitment to continued strategic investment across its food, animal nutrition and farming portfolios.
“I am honoured to step into the role of Maxum Foods’ first CEO,” Lochland said. “This appointment represents an exciting new chapter for the company, and I’m proud to work alongside a team passionate about delivering value for our customers. Together, we’ll continue building on Maxum’s strong foundation while exploring new opportunities.”
Maxum Foods Director Ben Woodhouse welcomed the appointment, acknowledging the leadership and capability Lochland brings to the role.
“The board is thrilled to appoint Adrian as our inaugural CEO,” Woodhouse said. “Maxum Foods is experiencing sustained growth across all areas of the business, and Adrian has been instrumental in shaping that trajectory. His leadership and in-depth industry knowledge make him the ideal person to guide us through our next phase of strategic development.”
Lochland will remain based at Maxum’s Brisbane head office as he transitions into the role.
