Grain Science Conference

‘Grains for a Healthy Future’ is the theme of the 65th Australasian Grain Science Conference, which will bring together scientific and technical experts from Australia and overseas to discuss issues vital to shaping our relationship with food, nutrients and dietary patterns.

Topics to be addressed include: an integrating framework for human obesity; causes of adverse food reactions to cereals and legumes; harnessing grain science and technology for national health; bioengineering of oilseeds; and the changing wheat industry landscape.

The conference, to be held from 16-18 September 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach Hotel in Sydney, will also include scientific and poster sessions, a wheat quality forum and a session with the Grains and Legumes Nutrition Council.
