General Mills restructuring in Australia

Monday, 07 November, 2016

General Mills is closing its manufacturing facility in Mount Waverley, Victoria, and consolidating its Australian manufacturing in its Rooty Hill facility. The Mount Waverley facility makes pasta, sauce and ready-to-eat meals.

All staff have been informed about the closure, which is anticipated to occur between April and June 2018.

General Mills will be working to redeploy and relocate employees to Rooty Hill as appropriate, but it is likely that most roles from Mount Waverley will become redundant.
