Fine Food Australia will be held at the International Convention Centre in Sydney from 9–12 September 2019. The show provides new insights, product innovations and expert advice for those in the food industry.

The show features a range of events, including Innovation Kitchen, where visitors can observe chefs and producers display the best ways to use ingredients within different business constraints in a fully specified kitchen.

The Monin Coffee Chain Challenge provides tips and tricks from industry experts about brewing coffee on a commercial scale, while the Aged Care Conference titled Dining with Dignity will cover the latest laws on the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI), and advances in texture modified foods.

NRC Silver will be presenting Talking Trends, discussing all national and international trends affecting the food industry. Freedom Foods will also be discussing food trends, and how attendees can adapt their businesses to existing food trends.

For baking enthusiasts, the Bake Skills, Patisserie Stage and Live Bakery will present innovations in baking by Callebaut with equipment by Van Rooy. The Bake Skills National Pastry Chef Championships and the Bake Skills Australia National Baking Championships will also be held at Fine Food Australia, with the EOI bakery team offering new recipes and demonstrations to bakers. Young Australian chefs will also be competing in the Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award National Final, displaying their skills in the kitchen. Chefs, trainees and apprentices from across Australia will also be participating in the ACF Australian Culinary Challenge.

Fine Food Australia attendees will have the opportunity to meet the Woolworths Brand Managers and Product Developers at Meet the Buyer: Woolworths, to gain insights into consumer research, operations, marketing and global trends in the food industry.

The show will host the Official Great Aussie Pie & Sausage Roll Competition, judging the nation’s best Plain Meat Pie, Gourmet Pie, Seafood Pie, Gluten Free Pie, Apple Pie, Brekkie Pie and both Plain and Gourmet Sausage Rolls.

Facilitated by Jill Dupleix, the Women in Foodservice Charity Event will feature speakers including Kylie Javier Ashton, Kate Gibbs, Jacqui Challinor and Janelle Bloom. The gourmet brunch will take place on 10 September, with funds going to Eat Up Australia.
