Fine Food Australia speaker line-up announced
The list of speakers at the Fine Food Australia exhibition in Melbourne has been announced.
The talks will be presented by industry experts and innovators in three sections. Talking Trends will offer business-focused looks at important topics; The Source Kitchen will present new ingredients and developments; and Talking Shop will provide information about improving food and service knowledge.
One of the showpiece presentations of Talking Trends is Rod Fowler’s There’s a Robot in My Kitchen, which will look at how the foodservice industry will deal with and integrate automation. A pair of robots will be on the floor, representing Bear Robotics and JNS Robotics. Additionally, there will be talks about the introduction of alternative proteins onto restaurant menus and how single-use plastic bans can affect the foodservice industry.
The Source Kitchen will include talks about the use of oysters, waxflower, and wild game and cultivated Australian mushrooms.
For Talking Shop, speakers will give presentations about adding texture to plant-based milks, regenerative agriculture and sustainability in animal food, and using different technologies to benefit business operations.
The full list of speakers is available here.
Fine Food Australia runs 5–8 September at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Register for the event online.
