De Novo Dairy announces rebranding
Monday, 20 March, 2023
De Novo Dairy has rebranded to De Novo Foodlabs. The new name reflects the company’s focus on creating sustainable nutrients that improve the health of people and the planet through precision fermentation and other technologies.
The company’s proprietary precision fermentation platform enables the creation of high-quality and nutrient-rich ingredients from non-animal sources, contributing to a more sustainable and ethical food system.
De Novo Foodlabs is set to move its headquarters to London in Q4 2023, a relocation to allow the company to strengthen its partnerships with leading food and beverage companies, research institutions and investors.
CEO Jean Louwrens labelled this change a “significant milestone” for the company and said, “Our new name and broader focus reflect our commitment to creating a better food system for everyone, and we are excited to be at the forefront of this movement.”
The rebranding represents a shift for the company in this space, allowing it to make an impact on the global food system with sustainable, nutritious and commercially attractive ingredients.
