AIP announces virtual site tour of Planet Protector Packaging
The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) has announced bookings are open to its members for its virtual site visit of Planet Protector Packaging on 23 June.
Tour attendees will hear the story of the development and manufacturing of Planet Protector Packaging’s award-winning Woolpack product.
Woolpack is made from 100% sheep waste wool enclosed within a recyclable or compostable food-grade wrap. It is a sustainable, recyclable and home compostable alternative for shipping temperature-sensitive food, seafood, wine, pharmaceuticals and cosmeceuticals.
The virtual tour explores how the product is applied to a wide variety of goods that need to be shipped over long distances.
Woolpack has won multiple awards including Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) Awards and WorldStar Packaging Awards.
