Agribusiness hub seeks industry input
A new agri-food innovation hub has been launched in Southern Queensland. Food Leaders Australia (FLA) aims to provide a framework for producers, processors, logistics firms and other stakeholders to collaboratively develop technologies, innovations and projects to capitalise on the growing international demand for premium food.
Planned programs include an export masterclass, market research and supply chain work, including a feasibility study into the establishment of a perishable goods facility at Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport.
The group, led by the University of Southern Queensland and Toowoomba and Surat Basin Enterprise, is seeking feedback from food businesses regarding the assistance they need to reach their full potential. Visit Food Leaders Australia for more information.
