2022 PIDA Awards to be held at FoodTech Qld

The 2022 Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design (PIDA) Awards are being held on 8 July at the FoodTech Qld conference, and bookings for the event are filling up quickly. The awards are given by the Australian Institute of Packaging in recognition of packaging excellence and winners can enter the WorldStar Packaging Awards.

The Packaging Innovation & Design of the Year company awards are assigned from six categories for companies that have innovated in packaging design. These award categories are: Food Packaging Design of the Year; Beverage Packaging Design of the Year; Health, Beauty & Wellness Packaging Design of the Year; Domestic & Household Packaging Design of the Year; Labelling & Decoration Design of the Year; and Outside of the Box Design of the Year.

There are also six special awards categories, including: Marketing Design of the Year; Accessible and Inclusive Packaging Design of the Year; Save Food Packaging Design of the Year; Sustainable Packaging Design of the Year; Industry Packaging Professional of the Year; and ABA Scholarships.
