CamSensor Q:Seal Tray Pack system

The Camsensor Q:Seal Tray Pack system checks the seal integrity of plastic trays containing food products. It provides a comprehensive quality control of the seal area to prevent food spoilage and ensure clean seals.

Using the Camsensor smart camera with high-speed line-scan technology, the passing trays are inspected on a split conveyor. High-intensity backlight ensures that any flaws are detected with accuracy.

The system can easily be integrated into any production line and interfaces with current reject mechanisms. It detects produce, grease and foreign matter in the seal area and checks for the presence of film, the seal and picks up any creases.

It can inspect transparent or white polystyrene trays and single or multi-compartment trays. Printed film can be checked if the seal is clear of printing.

The system automatically rejects products with imperfect seals. Warning indications of certain failure types quickly allow for better machine set-up and can reduce wastage. The Camconsole operator display provides production information, images of reject product and the ability to easily set up the system for new products.
