Desktop bar code label and receipt printers

Zebra Technologies has introduced a new version of its LP series of desktop bar code label and receipt printers - the LP/TLP2824 Plus. Packed with high-performance features, the LP/TLP 2824 Plus series offers an ultra-compact footprint and reliable high-speed label and receipt printing onto media up to 50.8 mm wide.

This latest series combines both EPL and ZPL programming language into the single model for immediate compatibility into any Zebra printer environment. With the included Zebra set-up utilities software and auto-sensing plug-and-play serial and USB connectivity, the 2824 is easy to set up.

The new Plus series is backwards compatible and can be used to replace any Zebra printer where only 50.8 mm wide direct thermal media is required. The casing boasts a time-saving reset button that will recall user-entered settings even if the printer has been turned off or disconnected from its power supply. Colour-coded parts and buttons along with an easy media loading mechanism make for fast, simple use.

With a print speed of 101.6 mm/s and even faster print output than previous models, this latest development in direct thermal printing is suitable for price marking, receipt printing, prescription labelling, work in progress labelling, visitor ID and tickets and tag printing applications.
