The Promass S Coriolis flowmeter is a robust, single-tube, stainless steel device. The design ensures a minimal sheering of the fluid and reduced pressure loss, with the benefit that this multivariable device simultaneously measures mass, volume, density, temperature and concentration in all food industry processes such as milk, cheese, yoghurt, beer, wine, mineral water, soft drinks, fruit and vegetable juices, oil, fat, margarine, chocolate, confectionary, cleaning agents and solvents with a minimum of product degradation.

The drainable and cleanable Promass S meets the requirements for European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group (EHEDG) certification, and is built according to the FDA and 3A standards, making it suitable for all hygienic flow applications. The single measuring tube, as well as the transmitter, is constructed of stainless steel and can be easily cleaned. The Promass S can also handle stringent CIP/SIP processes up to +150°C and does not require inlet/outlet runs or flow profilers and conditioners since the accuracy is not affected by the flow profile.

The Promass S has a measuring accuracy of ±0.1% of reading.

Endress+Hauser has designed the Promass S for maintenance-free operation with a fully-welded construction, no moving parts and no internal seals. The easy-to-install Promass S Coriolis flowmeter is a single instrument for multivariable measurement that reduces metering point costs in hygienic food applications.
