Matthews to launch label printer applicator at AUSPACK PLUS
Matthews Australasia will launch the Avery Dennison 81x Label Printer Applicator (LPA) at AUSPACK PLUS tomorrow.
Using a backing-paper-free labelling material, the Avery LPA reduces energy and material use - and hence waste - for carton, tray and pallet labelling.
“We chose to launch the new 81x LPA at AUSPACK PLUS because it is Australasia’s leading tradeshow,” said Mark Dingley, Matthews’ General Manager of Operations.
“Auspack draws a large cross-section of the manufacturing industry, who come because they’re interested in new, innovative and unique solutions to evaluate for their own packaging or processing lines.
“Sustainability is a major challenge facing the Australian processing and packaging industry today. By having a lighter footprint across its life cycle, this print-and-apply identification solution helps meet that challenge by supporting increased productivity and improving efficiency and sustainability by reducing paper waste, water and energy usage. It helps manufacturers to fulfil their sustainability targets at no extra cost.”
Matthews will showcase the Avery LPA at stand 172 at AUSPACK PLUS from 7 to 10 May at the Sydney Showgrounds.
