Changing leadership at O3C
The Omega-3 Centre (O3C), a not-for-profit health organisation promoting the benefits of long chain omega-3 fatty acids, is having a change of leadership this year after the founding executive director, Wendy Morgan, resigned in December.
The centre has recently appointed Monique Cashion, a dietician formerly of the O3C Management Committee, as the new executive director.
Wendy Morgan will continue working at the O3C as the scientific advisor on nutrition — one of five recently appointed scientific advisory positions, designed to help keep the O3C abreast with new research and regulations regarding omega-3s.
The other scientific advisors are:

- Dr Laurence Eyres, Auckland University — Scientific Adviser, Lipid Chemistry
- Dr David Roberts, formerly Australian Food & Grocery Council — Scientific Adviser, Policy & Regulatory Affairs
- Dr Peter Nichols, CSIRO — Scientific Adviser, Seafood
