Harnessing the new Health Claims Standard: Opportunities and risks in marketing the healthy angle of foods - Sydney
27 September, 2016 - 27 September, 2016
This FoodLegal workshop addresses the new Health Claims Standard, particularly how it affects the way in which businesses market their products. It will examine nutrition profiling criteria, substantiation of general-level health claims and limitation on existing nutrition claims.
A compliance expert presenter from FoodLegal will demonstrate how to design and assess marketing and packaging claims, product descriptors and advertising to minimise the risk of legal liability for products and businesses. The workshop will also cover how to market the healthy angle of your food products, Health Star ratings, limitations of existing nutrition claims and Australian Consumer Law and ACCC issues in relation to ‘healthy’ food marketing.
