CCA set Krones the challenge of creating an extremely lightweight, eco-friendly hotfill bottle with a 38 mm wide-neck closure.

Krones rose to the challenge and also reduced the container’s weight from 33 to 24 g. The filling process was also changed over from hotfill to warmfill, leading to substantial energy savings. All of the bottle’s constituents can be fully recycled.
