A new home for Charlie’s Cookies
Wednesday, 23 February, 2011
Food-facility and cold-storage builders Brady IPS has recently completed the new fit-out for Charlie’s Cookies at East Bentleigh in Melbourne’s south east. The construction features a large production area, cool rooms, wash rooms, oven area, amenities and office fit-out.

The manufacturing facility was built to meet FM construction standard, strict hygiene requirements and compliance with BCA regulations. The building features Brady IPS’ new-generation, insulated sliding and hinged doors.
The internal walls and suspended ceiling were constructed using the latest insulated panel technology incorporating a Microban antibacterial coating and a polisocyanurate thermal core. The smooth clean-
line finish of the walls and ceilings and tapered epoxy coves at the wall to floor junctions make cleaning very easy.
Other features of the project include; food-grade epoxy flooring, custom manufactured equipment wash sinks, 3000 L grease interceptor trap, retractable hot wash hose reels and knee-operated hand-wash basins.
Brady IPS offers businesses a complete package, from design, custom manufacturing, construction and permit approval.
