Call for papers for 2015 National Technical Forums

The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) and the Australian Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (APPMA) have issued a call for papers for the 2015 National Technical Forums, which will be held in conjunction with AUSPACK 2015.

The programming committee is specifically looking for case study and real-life example-style presentations and papers relating to the theme ‘Open Innovation & Collaboration’. Working case study applications with brand owners and end users is strongly encouraged.

Presentations are welcomed on a range of topics, including:

  • Packaging and processing innovations
  • Robotics and automation solutions
  • Primary packaging (including materials, food safety, responsible packaging, etc)
  • Active and intelligent packaging
  • 3D printing
  • Chain of custody certification
  • Retail-ready packaging
  • Packaging printing
  • Tamper evidence
  • Eco design tools

The deadline for abstracts and papers is Friday, 7 November 2014. The provisional program and speakers will be notified by late November 2014.
