Speakers announced for supply chain conference
A number of senior executives have been confirmed as speakers at the 15th Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference.
Speakers include:

After the success of new workshops in 2013, the 2014 event will feature six workshops focusing on personal and professional development. Delegates can choose between workshops on procurement, personal development and supply chain and logistics.
Jane Anderson, a personal branding expert, will speak on day one on the topic ‘How we are perceived in our own organisation reflects our ability to influence’. One of the greatest challenges departments face is changing the organisation’s perception of the department’s brand, Anderson says. In a recent survey, when asked to describe their perception of procurement, respondents used words like: ‘transactional’, ‘process-driven’, ‘bureaucracy’, ‘inflexible’ and ‘restrictive’. During this session, Anderson will share her insights on how to get clarity and define your department’s brand.
To be held on 4 and 5 September at the Sofitel Hotel in Brisbane, the conference is the largest event of its kind in the state and is suitable for supply chain, logistics, transport and procurement professionals and practitioners.
The conference is organised by the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA), the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), QUT School of International Business, CIPS Australia, the Australasian Production and Inventory Control Society (apicsAU) and the South East Queensland Procurement Network Group.
