Urschel awarded for Affinity Dicer

Urschel has been awarded for Outstanding Innovation in Cutting Technology by Fleischerei Technik for its Affinity Dicer. The award was presented at the recent IFFA international trade fair for processing, packaging and sales in the meat processing industry.

The Affinity’s overall hygienic design, excellent cutting results and high-output capacity won over the panel of experts, which comprised representatives of leading science and trade journals. Applications were judged based on quality improvement, cost reduction, sustainability and effective process design.

The Affinity is Urschel’s largest dicer. Originally designed to meet the stringent sanitation standards of the cheese and meat sector, the dicer has also found applications in fruits, vegetables and breads.

Urschel is represented in Australia and New Zealand by Heat and Control.
